The beginning of spring is one of the most pleasant times of the year. The sun lingers a little longer, the birds return, and the first flowers begin to bloom. The air feels fresh and light.

In California, early spring also marks peak poppy season. We spent a few golden afternoons shooting with our muse, Kenady, between the grounds of Greystone Mansion and the rolling hills of Antelope Valley.

We’ll be sharing the final images from these shoots in the coming weeks.
