How it all started
Our co-founder, Micaela, was diagnosed with late-stage chronic Lyme disease among other chronic illnesses and found it difficult to find safe products that wouldn’t irritate her skin. Her mother, Dawn, turned to nature’s simple gifts and developed homemade remedies that were effective, gentle, and comforting. This was the conception of My July.

Our Muses
We draw inspiration from our muses—the summer, the sun, and the ocean. Our brandmark represents a sun with waves spiraling into it, all harmoniously held together within an arch which represents shelter, a home—this symbolizing comfort and safety.
All of these elements together create the intimate bond between nature and humans which ignited the inception of My July.
