Woods Dog Spray Disclaimer
Woods Dog Spray (“WDS”) is vet-approved. WDS has been clinically proven to offer complete protection against fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes when directly sprayed onto dog’s coat, focusing on legs, paws, and underside and applied by hand to the outer ears, avoiding eyes and genitals hourly or as needed.
For external use only. WDS is meant for topical use only and should not be ingested. If reaction occurs, discontinue use immediately.
WDS is appropriate for dogs. Users are advised to conduct a skin patch test on a small area of skin prior to use.
Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, mucous membranes, wounds, genitals, or damaged or irritated skin.
If irritation, redness or other adverse reaction occurs, stop use immediately and seek medical advice. If you have any concerns about using the product, especially if your dog has allergies or medical conditions, consult a veterinarian prior to use. WDS is a short-term formula that helps discourage fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes from being attracted to dogs and clinging to their coats. It is not a substitute for flea and tick medications but is safe to use alongside veterinarian-prescribed treatments. Dogs may react differently to WDS, even though it is natural and organic. Do not use on cats.

The dog-friendly, vet-approved version of our bestselling Woods Nature Spray targets fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes

Why "Woods"?
It began with a golden retriever named Shannon—though in moments of chaos, our tongues tripped between “Shannon” and “sit,” and affectionately became “Sh*t.”
Then came Genevieve, the golden puppy Micaela picked from a litter and named after the dog from Ludwig Bemelmans’ Madeline series.
Harley, the neighbors’ golden retriever, was like family—an honorary cousin who stayed for weeks at a time whenever his humans went away.

Through it all, one thing remained the same. They all played outside.
Our signature Woods Nature Spray was created to protect humans from biting insects—but our canine friends deserve the same peace of mind.
Beyond safeguarding against vector-borne illnesses, time outside with your dog offers something deeper: lower blood pressure, calmer nerves, steadier hearts, and a renewed sense of connection between human and animal—a simple, grounding reminder that we belong to nature, together.

Key Ingredients
Cedarwood Essential Oil
Can dissolve the exoskeletons of insects, especially in their earlier life stages, and can also interfere with their ability to breathe. Can disrupt the fat particles in insects which are vital for their survival.
Rose Geranium Essential Oil
Type of geranium plant with a refreshing, rosy scent. Contains compounds like geraniol and citronellol, known for their insect-repelling characteristics, namely against ticks.
Lavender Essential Oil
Its strong scent, containing compounds like linalool, can repel insects such as mosquitoes, flies, moths, fleas, and ticks. Also popular amongst holistic veterinarians and pet owners for its calming, anti-parasitic, and skin-supporting properties.
Lemongrass Essential Oil
Despite its name, lemongrass essential oil does not contain any lemon nor is a part of the citrus family. Rather it comes from the leaves or grasses of the lemongrass plant. Lemongrass acts as a natural insect repellent, deterring mosquitoes, flies, fleas, ticks, and lice due to its compounds citral and geranyl acetate.
