What is the difference between a body oil, a body butter, and a body balm?

All three are “anhydrous” meaning they don’t contain any water. This distinguishes them from creams and lotions.

Body oils contain only oils and are light in consistency.

Body butters contain a mixture of butters, waxes, and oils making the consistency thick but easy to spread. 

Body balms contain high concentrations of butters and waxes making the consistency dense and optimal to use on dry patches of skin—such as lips, elbows, knees, heels, and cuticles. 

Can your body butters and body oils be used on my face?

Our body butters and body oils are face-friendly. Remember: Just a little goes a long way, especially on your delicate face. We recommend testing out new products on a non-sensitive part of your skin—such as your elbow—to make sure no reaction occurs.

How and when should I apply My July products?

My July products are safe for everyday use at any time of day. However, using them right after a shower helps lock in extra hydration! Use as much as you need to moisturize all over. Gold Mine makes a great base before applying makeup. Paris makes a great spritz to set makeup.

Is it safe to use My July products while pregnant or breastfeeding?

Please consult your doctor before using any of our products while pregnant or breastfeeding.

Do you offer gift cards?

At this time, we do not offer gift cards.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we offer international shipping. International customers are responsible for all customs fees, taxes, and any other surcharges levied by their respective governments. We are unable to declare your package at any other value than the value paid at checkout.

What should I do if my order is missing or something is wrong?

Please email us at care@myjulyskin.com with your order number and we will assist you.

Can I modify or cancel my order?

You may modify or cancel your order within one hour of ordering by replying directly to the order confirmation email. If your modification or cancellation request falls outside of the one-hour window, please email us at care@myjulyskin.com we will do our best to accommodate you, but there is no guarantee that your order will be cancelled or modified.

My order is a gift. Can I have it personalized?

We offer a personal note to the recipient for $1 and gift wrapping for $3. Please be sure to check off these boxes and what you’d like written in the personal note in the “Write your message here” text box upon checking out.

What are your return and refund policy?

We accept returns on any unopened/unused products within 30 days of purchase to be refunded back to the original form of payment. The product must be returned in its original condition. For assistance with any opened product that has been used, please email us at care@myjulyskin.com.
