1. Beginning at your feet, brush upwards towards your heart.
2. Use short, quick circular motions or strokes up your legs, stomach, and arms.
3. On your stomach, brush below your belly button down towards the groin area and brush above your belly button up towards your heart.
4. Brush on your stomach in a circular motion in a clockwise direction.
5. Brush your shoulders and chest area towards your heart.
Focus on areas like your armpits and inner thighs, which contain lymph nodes that help with lymphatic drainage.
Optional: Take a shower or bath to remove dead skin cells. Apply a My July body butter or oil to moisturize your skin. Tap the brush with the bristles facing down to remove any excess skin particles.
Do not use on sensitive skin—rashes, hives, or other skin issues and wounds. Do not use this brush on fragile skin—face and neck.
To clean, fill a small dish with enough warm water so the bristles will be wet but do not touch the wood. Add a few drops of a gentle soap and move the brush to create lather. Discard water and refill with plain warm water and repeat process to remove soap from bristles.
To dry, place brush face down on a towel in a warm dry area. Do not allow water to sit on the brush for extended periods of time.
